Elizabeth

You took my hand,

And you told me you'd never let go.

A tear shed down my face,

As I stand alone in this old yard,

Filled with stones and flowers.

You told me you'd never leave me,

Yet you left this world.

Now you are six feet under,

And I am left alone.
