What's the point?
What's the point when all you feel is sadness, loneliness and grief.
What's the point in saying how you feel when you get nothing but shoulder shrugs...
Silent replies...
And judgmental thought?
What's the point in trying when you yourself can't even escape the pain that consumes you?
Making it harder to get through the day,
Making it harder to see the good in anything,
Or making it impossible to enjoy the things you once loved.
What's the point when the only thing friends you have are the razor blades or pills you look for in everyday?
What's the point when all you know is the tear stained sheets, bloody sleeves and scared wrists?
What's the point when all you can think about is how much better the world would be without you in it?
What's the point when the voices in your head won'y go away,
As they continually tear you down,
Tearing at you from the inside out...
Bringing you closer and closer to your breaking point until you are on the edge of explosion.
What's the point when everyone you've ever trusted leaves you without even saying "good-bye?"
When someone you thought would be there for you through anything... stabs you in the back.
What's the point when whenever someone told yoju those three special words...
They were nothing but lies.
What's the point when you have nothing to live for,
And nobody by your side?

That was the best poem I have ever read
THANK YOU!!! That means so much to me!!
WELCOME BRENDA ~ Thanks for your first very challenging POEM ! This is a very empathetic site and you will get a lot of support and love. As TEENS most of us have gone through feelings of worthlessness and rejection ~ but we have survived. You are unique ~ you are precious ~ you are special ~ in GOD's sight and in the eyes of those who do love you ! You are fortunate to be in the USA (Land of Opportunity) many GIRLS of your Age in underdeveloped Countries are in arranged marriages and treated almost as slave. Count your BLESSINGS and you will see that you have much to be thankful for ~ your body is sacred ~ take good care of it don't abuse it. Thanks for sharing I know you will have found it CATHARTIC ~ please check my poems. Thinking of you Praying for you ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)
Thank you for doing that!!
