Bibbeck

Nuclear What?

They're blowing the world apart

With me still inside

There's nowhere for me to run

Nowhere to hide!

I wrapped the blanket around me

Pulled on my bullet-proof vest

Put on my welly boots

And tin helmet on my head.

Bang! Lightening flashed

A large mushroom in the sky

I hid my head in my hands

My god! I'm going to die!

Thank-you. I'm not quite sure it's any advancement though in this respect. 😕 Which is most dangerous after that, Politics or Humanity - that's a tough one!

Back in the sixties my father was watching the news on television, it was the Cuba Crises, it was the only time the he ever shouted "Shut up!" to me.
A you say it was an ever present threat at the time.
Why can we not "Give Peace a Chance".
