Roses

Lucy

Thrive as beautiful.

Blossom so dangerously,

rot so lifelessly.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem represents the sadness that I feel when my roses die for the winter. They symbolize my summer, freedom and happiness. I tend to look at them while doing my homework if they are in blossom and it just adds a little color to even my worst days. Sorry I'm not very good at poetry and this is my first poem. Feedback is great!
