She lies there silently wondering why? Painful tears streaming down her sad, depressed face. She was tired of the pain inside, it just never seems to want to go away. Her heart feels so broken, it's like a piece of glass someone has just shatter into thousands of pieces. She asked herself does he even regret what he did? He was meant to love and protect her but he failed at that. How could he live with himself each and everyday knowing he ruined her and who she should of been. That was his little girl, his own blood. Why didn't he love her?

WELCOME SHANXI ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ very revealing. You said that writing poetry about bad things that happened is therapeutic and I agree. When I was a Teen ~ I wrote about negative experiences to get hem out of my system ~ and to some extent it worked ! Now I write about Rabbits & Trees ! (Please check my poems !). HURT INSIDE is about betrayal of trust and it is very sad ! Being betrayed by the one who should most love and protect you ~ such betrayal does indeed shatter trust & confidence !
