They see me for I am here; in body but not mind
They know me for my secrets and the truths that I hide
They think they notice what happens in my life, But deep down inside is an anger, a poison that's eating me alive.
If you were to look into my mind you'd see a cage that trap my thoughts so they make everyone blind
Therefore, no matter how hard I try, no one can ever know the pain that will forever reside.
People I open up to betray me like that,
And people I trust break me just as fast
The smile I show is just that, a show
And I am a great actress as nobody knows.
My skin is like paper, For you think I reflect words
But they sink in and absorb, Making me scared and unheard.
