Invisible Life

Jabberwocky

This is my invisible life
It's full of joy and a little strife
I have two kids and an absent wife.

Kids, they do things every day
That make you want to turn and say
To someone close with whom to share
How sweet they are and passing fair
When I turn so there's no one there
And so that lovely thing they did
Is from that other sadly hid
And I must laden carry on
Another tiny precious stone
It's beauty unremarked upon
And un-forgot by me alone.
