For Phil

Miss Daisy

Your soft blue eyes,
That pierce my soul.
Your gentle voice,
Melting me like April snow,
Calming me from a raging sea.
Your tender lips,
That kiss all my senses.
Your facial hair,
That tickles my fancy!
My enigma, my quintessential friend,
How blessed I am to have you in my life.

Thank you. Alas poor Phil died of cancer a year after I wrote this.
