The Sun Will Rise

poetboy123

Emotions rise above me like waves

Drowning and soon nothing left to save

Fight against the tide, holding in tears

Everything I have pushing away the fears

Crushing me as time continues to go by

Body to ashes, staring at the sky

Fire pumps through my veins, lifting above

Banishing my hate, searching for my love

Control the beast roaring in its cage

Lies piled around, withhold the rage

The walls start closing around me

Pounding on them, struggling to be free

Inside screaming about how it's all unfair

Pain leaps right into my heart, impossible to bear

Battling on just to feel the joy of life

Break down the doors, it is worth the strife
