What has this world come to?
With wars and famine , bombings and attacks
This should be the time when we act on what to do
Not the time we put people in charge who act like twats
Trump is now in command of the USA
The obamas have fled the country
I'm starting to think if there's a good place to live these days
Wish I'd been born in another century
Yes technology has flourished
But has it done us any good?
For many are still malnourished
And people are majorly misunderstood
Society is fighting crime
by doing exactly that
committing murders and starting fires
That we will soon wish we could take back
I'm not saying it's all been bad
There are many things that have been good
With equality levels rising
And more people under a roof
But with all that's happened in history
Surely now we should have learned
Killing and winning isn't the victory
It's relationships and values that we earn
So what has the world come to ?
Putting people into categories
Surely it would be right to :
- stop the wars
- Stop the threats
- Keep the peace
And start to make a better history

Good write and very true. Unfortunately those with the power and the money want to keep it all for themselves and will not help others. There is enough in this world to stop all poverty, wars, famine and drought.
