Surrender.

Fay Slimm.

Surrender

Gathering pace the storm of submission
hits at the mind as surrender begins
to heat wary blood.

The will is relinquished, shackles explode
from succumbing parts of the restless
but questioning heart.

Resistance yields, seems right then to defer,
even pleasant passivity has to be met
squarely as passion starts.

Strange how love's chains grow deceptively
lighter, appear much easier to wear
when it happens again

Pleasant passivity has to be met. As surrender begins storm of submission begins here with wonderful imagery. Resistance yields at right time and gathering peace becomes motive. This is interesting poem shared here really.
