Your Truth

poetboy123

The world may be collapsing on you

And even if you don't know what to do

Raise your voice against the tide

This will be one helluva ride

Ignore the hands that pull you under

Hold yourself together, never sunder

Grit your teeth and keep moving on

Do whatever it takes until the day you're gone

Focus on the victory, the final laugh

Climb higher, forge your own epitaph

Refuse to give in even as you fall

Rise once again and stand tall

Fail a million times to learn once

Keep your head high, no matter the grievance

Hold on to whatever you are

Without your truth, you won't go far

Love this...especially failing a million times to only learn once and holding on to your truth, refusing to give in even when you fall..all of it really!
