Total War

Dave poet

Armed conflict and extreme aggression,

Banging at your door,

There are no rules or uniforms, implying Total War.

Islamic State and other groups causing people's death,
They set off bombs and burn their targets, like a Dragons breath.

Every day brings new attacks,

and not just in the west,

The Middle East and Africa,

there's never any rest.

British troops losing lives fighting no ones war,
Horrific scenes of death and gore, will shake you to the core.

Upon the streets of London, Bristol and Swansea too,
The public stay quite vigilant, and know just what to do.

Peace seems such a distant cry, can see no end in sight, as long as there are terrorists we won't give up the fight.

This madness will stop when we realise, and by we I mean the world, realises that war does not ever work.
