The Weird Dawn of Dreams

Gino

Dark clouds above me,
A symphony over me,
A resistance before me,
And then everything else exists
Into the twilight of our own conspiracies

The morning dawns and breaks away
To ponder the harvest of another day

Leisure's of our excellence
Let's break prudence
To give light for another way

Gathered dreams of posterity
Cast out the nightmares
That summon our fears

Plight masses of unyielding horror
Don't tear the arts of our labor
But give us peace
To reflect our time's share

For the world recollects nothing
Or owes us anything
But conceals everything in sand
To veil the prosperity
Of our eternal sacrifice, in vain
