Fits tune: Fulda
('We have a gospel to proclaim')
Psalm 73 v.23 - 28
********
I, O Lord, am always with you
You do guide me, and me do renew
By my right hand you hold me sure
I rejoice in you evermore
You shall me with your counsel guide
It from me you shall never hide
And afterwards shall me receive
To glory, blessings, I believe
Whom have I in heaven but you?
The only God and only true
And there is none on earth beside
That I desire, in you I confide
My flesh and heart fail do they
But God my strength, to Him I pray
The strength of my heart, portion here
I worship Him with godly fear
My portion for ever is He
Those far from Him, they shall not be
Among the saved, but perish they
But you me protect every day
It is good for me to draw near
To God, and find His presence here
For I have put my in God my Lord
My trust, declared His works assured
