Turned away

Like I mean nothing

Falling out of love

How do we tell the world

That we are just another mistake

Something to be set in silence

Left broken and stale

No new love

No new life

can ever return to what has died

The love is gone

And I guess

I never saw that coming

But here it is anyway

The ending

I always dreaded

But I will survive

And move on

And start over again

I am used to it

And it’s fine

You got it all wrong

And this is the end of the line
