It's the shooting volts of electricity that no one seems to mention
The I can't breathes
And the paralysis so that I can't even feel the gravel digging into my knees
The shockwaves that I can't see
Run through the ground and then through me
Most of me runs on autopilot
Muscle memory
As all my other memories become smudged with the tears I keep trapped in my head until one day the shockwaves are over.

This reminds me of my struggle with PTSD. Well written. Thank you.
