Howl of the Night

BassJek

The Moon leaned down to kiss her

I wonder if she feels it?

Its touch a distant light

Fading slowly with time

A million eyes of silver

Bare witness shining bright

A single flower in blooming

Yawns a work of art

Cold black skies unfold

Revealing a hidden canvas

Rumors paint the clouds

Exposing every detail

Soon they will Journey

Down Those cheeks so dear

Alone is named a lullaby

Stillness will be the song

Who can hear the dying call?

A voice is all but hopeless

Listen if you will

Believe if you dare

Thin winds are distant whispers

Translating a lonely night
