Nagging

If I write it down

Will it go away

The nagging doubt

and crippling fear

The one that says

To settle down

The one that says

Hold on to what you’ve found

All the things that roll around my head

That keep me awake in the night

While I am lying in bed

Sometime I don’t feel

Like I can make it through

Sometimes I wonder what I should do

Do I hold on and never look back

All I know is that if one argument

Can undo it all

Perhaps it’s not l really love at all

A nagging thought

Nothing but distraction

If I adjust my view

And change my inaction

Perhaps we again can

Find our attraction
