Vita Brevis

rrodriguez

Everything changes and passes on

There’s nothing new, everything’s gone

There’s a lot of uncertainty in life

In every corner, you find strife

 Face the unknown—challenge uncertainty

Mystery’s wrapped in adversity

In this mysterious process called life

Don’t be afraid though it cuts like a knife

Leap into the dark—where blind faith would lead

In this dark world, forsake any misdeed

Tugging at you to continue the fight

Know that heaven leads you day & night

Time slowly goes on & doesn’t really wait

I pray that you get to the pearly gate
