Politicians are all the same
I won't play their silly game
That's my thought at twenty nine
Since thirteen it's served just fine.

Poem and poet's comment give pause for reflections .

Nicely written. Love the underlying message of the stupidity of holding opinions unthinkingly just because that's what you've always thought. Especially when it's hidden under a convincing abd widely belief about politics and politicians.
Short but very deep. Can't do better than well turned out classic or 4 or 6 liner

You do like the short ones 🙂
I'll see if I can get them down to epigrams.
Thanks Garry. Your comments are always appreciated.

Classic 4 or 6 liners. Perfect.

"How do you know when a politician is lying?"
        "Their lips move!"

        Good write.
