Rogation Wednesday

orchidee

The third of three Rogation Days before Ascension Day

Rogation - from 'rogare' - to ask

Fits tune: Abridge

('Be thou my guardian and my guide')

Mark 11 v.22 - 26

**********

Have faith in God, did Jesus teach

As we Him do beseech

For truly, whoe'er to mountain say

Be removed, not static stay

Who shall say, 'Be removed, and be

Cast now into the sea'

And shall not doubt within their heart

That mountain shall depart

Be believing, that those things said

We shall have, not misled

But what we say shall come to pass

If we pray, trust, and ask

Therefore Jesus says, 'Whatsoe'er

Things you desire in prayer'

When you pray, believe that you receive'

So given you, no deceive

And when you pray, forgive if you

Have ought 'gainst any, do

Forgive that your Father also

Forgive you, grace bestow

But if you do not here forgive

'Tis a blockage to live

For neither will Father you then

Forgive, He knows all men [mankind]

Basic Lord's prayer . What would we be without it . I recite it every day and mean it then go about living it . As God knows what we want and what we need he sets apart the two then proceeds . It is wonderful knowing I am part of a plan , thus giving me reason of purpose and future plans .
