In the Morning

Marie Braden

In the morning of my day,

As time passes away,

Ill hold onto the wind,

Anchor in the power from on high,

Look beyond this world im in,

Go sailing to the by and by,

Someday soon,

But I dont know when,

Sometimes the waves through storms,

And shuffle get way to high,

Then I look up to the sky,

And whisper,

Oh lord its I,

The tears are blinding,

Fears grip the soul,

All these problems you know,

Jesus spirit,

Sweet and true bids me adue,

Whispers there are angels around you,

When one embarks upon the journey home,

They are never alone,

So group onto holy hands and hold on,

If you can stand the pull,

Walk right through celestial pools,

Well get together beyond old school,

Unto the holy one run,

Forever be part of the soon,

In the morning of my day,

As time passes away,

I say, I say,

In the morning of my day,

As time passes away.
