Jamie

Mandi

She grows more beautiful everyday

She’s smart and stunning in every way

She’s kind and gentle, caring and free

She is the best Jamie in the world to me

She smiles and the room gets brighter

She cries and I want to hold her tighter

She’s got a heart made of gold and is really funny

She’s growing up and doesn’t want to be called my Shnookums bunny

I watch her in awe every day

I see her becoming a young women in every way

I know that someday she’ll want to be free

I know that she’ll always love me

I see her future glowing brighter

I see her move on and I want to hold tighter

I cherish our time, the good, the bad and the funny

I love Jamie, my little Shnookums bunny

  • Comment from author about the poem: I'm a proud mama of three. Yesterday I posted a poem about my son, today and tomorrow will be about my twin girls. I wrote this one and the one tomorrow for a star student day at their school. They both had received the award the same week. Parents had a list of options of things to do. One of them was a poem that the teacher would read aloud to the classes. So...that's what I chose. 😊 Love the three of them so much❤

Good loving write. She will flee the nest one day but she will know that you will always be there for her.
