The 2 A.M Writer

After all that is over

It doesn't very feel like I'm at the end

I'm looking out onto the sunset

And I'm staring down into the sea as well

And should I sail or swim away

I hope deep down

You will still attend my wedding or my funeral

...

Is it a bet I made to you?

Well did you even care in the first place?

I shouldn't be here, we both know that

Or maybe I'm supposed to be

Here

...

Casket or cake?

Whichever shall I choose

...
