A sailor never bows to the sea

No matter how choppy it may be

He guides the ship past the storm

And however else the ocean forms

A poet never truly ends a piece

For in their mind it will never cease

Though the ink may one day fade

Eternal in their heart will it live on until their grave

Struggle will come and shall go

But it will only ever be you who knows

The deepness of your scars,  the many pieces of your broken heart

For it kills you to just be apart

It feels as if you've already paid death's toll

Leaving you with a damaged soul

I refuse to let this story end like this

I understand these things you will always miss

But I must implore that you must continue

For the only person who can feel the sun for you...

is you
