Remember

Mandi

For those that gave the ultimate sacrifice

The ones who left their families and friends

The men and women who fought for our freedoms

Today we celebrate your life taken to soon

We mourn with those who miss you

We thank you for keeping us safe at home

We will leave an empty chair and have a toast

For all you gave we will always remember

Sacrifice can be selfish or sacred . Our soldiers , certainly not selfish , certainly sacred . We march a soft parade in remembrance .

I agree. War is a waste of a life. But most of us are not in control. All we can do is follow orders and try to do best for our families. Make it so they don't have to go through war as best we can.
