Soul River

Jabberwocky

I went down to the river
To watch the water flow
To ease some part of me
That might have once been soul.
I watched it tumble by
Alone upon the bank
And know that what was soul
Had already sank

Sorry, was that the one I walked on when I was out fishing, washed up on the bank. It responded to fresh water and a hug promising to return.
    Nicely done.

Your soul may have sank but it will rise again and you will move forward. Good write.
