I can’t judge you. I can’t make you feel how you do.Every morning, day and night watch you struggle. Struggle to find something you like. No matter how much makeup you wear or how many clothes you have, you don’t feel happy. You smile when you put that flashlight in my eye but when you look down at that flat device I see tears running down your face. As you stand their observing every little thing. You push back your hips and try to see that you look skinny. You put this belt on and stop yourself from eating and breathing. I wish you saw what I see. I see a young girl struggling. She’s struggling everyday to see something she loves about herself and everytime she walks away she looks so disappointed. She doesn’t see all the potential she has, to be whoever and whatever she wants to be. When she’s in this room everything breaks down her shell of confidence every feeling is raw and naked. I see a young woman. I see a beautiful woman. I see her.

WELCOME FRIEND ~ THANKS FOR YOUR FIRST POEM ~ Excellent in context and very very true. Mirrors can be a curse anyway ~ because what we see is a MIRROR IMAGE where LEFT is RIGHT and RIGHT is WRONG.. We are unsymmetrical and when we see a photo we often get a shock because it looks nothing like our reversed MIRROR IMAGE. Because of Fashion and Glamour and every "Famouis" girl being SIZE ZERO (I don't like skinny heroin chic Girls ! ) lots of my Younger Female Friends are dissatisfied with how they look ~ especially NAKED in a MIRROR ~ most ladies over 40 don't have that problem ~ but for most teens 25 years is too long to wait. When I'm with a Lady ~ what is important is PERSONALITY & LOVE ~ Color ~ Size ~ What she is (or isn't) wearing ~ Cosmetics ~ Jewels etc are all UNIMPORTANT ~ BUT as you say ~ Females are very difficult to convince that we love them for themselves ~ AMEN Thanks for caring ~ BRIAN (UK) Please check my poems ~ Thanks B.
