Insanity

MusicalRider

I love you.
That's what you told me
I'll never leave you.
Those words set me free

But those were lies
That pulled me back down
They beat and they caged me,
They tried to make me drown

Drown in your sorrows
Drown in your pain
You took away my hope
Just to keep yourself sane.

You dragged me under
Broke my mind
Then released me once again
Thinking you were kind

Now I stand here
Like you did years ago
And as they look at me
We both know..

This circle of insanity will spin on and on
Going to and fro..

You can always step out of that circle and go your own way. Be strong. Good write.
