Pinocchio

ElenaGrace

If I was a wooden puppet
Whose nose lengthened with each lie
It'd protrude from my face
Stretching impossibly far

Though unlike Pinocchio the blue fairy
Won't turn me into a real girl
Because I'll keep deceiving everyone
Saying I'm fine

But I'm okay with being a puppet
Someone else can pull my strings
I'm not strong enough to do it myself

Is the blue fairy in the fairytale or something? I haven't seen Pinocchio in a very long time.

Yeah she tells Pinocchio to behave and to not lie. And when he eventually follows her instructions she turns him into a real boy

Good write. Your strength will come - believe in yourself.
