Youth

Classicmister

What lay beyond that youth of mine

What winding way I'd follow

What unseen path or hidden sign

Leads me to joy or sorrow

All men start life with wildest dream

What wonders lie ahead!

But all is not as once did seem

When youthful blood is bled.

Good write. The youth of today is still be sent out to lose blood as they always have.

it is such a slow bleed that often we only recognize the extent of our bloodless upon truthful reflections. the scope of such we can only hope does lead to great regets but rather wisdom. Another good write that leaves one to pondering.
