Past The Gray Clouds

poetboy123

They've swept away the sky and have done away with blue

Setting the silver stage and shooting down a million drops

Now completed Act 1 with the grasses littered with dew

A thick gloom begins to settle in, ranging from bottom to top

But too easily do we forget that past those gray clouds

Still, lies the tinted blue sky with birds running alongside

And of course, the sun still shines with the warmth it shrouds

Besides if you'd just happen to look a little closer and appreciate

The clouds for what they are and accept that they will pass

For you'll only have so long to enjoy their company, this is fate

Just take a peek at the way the morning dew glows upon the grass

It's time to let your heart settle

Following in suit of the rain

And never forget that past the gray clouds

Lies a reminder that is worth the pain

Good write, the grey clouds pass and the light always appears. Go towards the light.

Er , I'm partial to rain , it's a fishing thing . But Sunshine is nice , I guess it will suffice .
