A smile feels really good
Probably more than it should
Knowing you’re gone
And I’m here moving on
Yet it’s not really like that since in a way you are still here
Because I choose to keep you near
Maybe you’re just having an off day
Although that wouldn’t explain why you went away
I’m not moving on in that kind of use
No I’m not using the poetry as an excuse
It’s my passion that I love
Being the only thing I truly know of
It’s just a simple smile
One that I haven’t had in a while.
