Light each Day
The light of each day is different
than the day before,
often a light we tend to ignore.
To Exist in Shadow
There exists in shadow matter
never brought to light,
therefore never robbed of
Its beauty.
Dark Beauty
Beauty in the dark
Beauty in the light
My eye perceives one,
my heart the other.
Bent Light
Light is bent by the prism
of the eye
leading me to forever wonder
of its true nature
Light on Freedom
Lacking freedom, some matters
are meant to exist only in shadows
never brought to light for reason
of treason.

We will never know what colors we are really seeing as light is turned to electrical impulses then sent to the brain to be unscrambled and presented as images in the brain . No tworries people see colors the same . And I'm like Ouback the last stanza has me intrigued and since it is lacking in detail my curiosity level has jumped way up .
In a free society we can criticize the government. In a controlled society that might land you in Siberia. Hence only in shadows.
Can't decide between Dark Beauty and Bent light as to which is my favorite, but they all are beautiful expressions. Another fine contribution, my friend!
