Alone Dreaming Of You

Mandi

It's late in the evening and the world is in bed

I'm awake sitting here on my own

You are constantly running through my head

When I'm thinking of you I don't feel so alone

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder

I found it just makes mine hurt more

I'm lost just left here to wander

Feeling worn down to my very core

I'll succumb to sleep and close my eyes tight

In my dreams the distance is but a reach away

Everything in them feels just right

You're with me and it's all okay

I know that when they open you'll be gone

The emptiness will come flooding back in

Until the day ends bringing a new dawn

And sleep brings you back to me again

The heart has to have blood to function . When it runs out it grows colder .
