In this moment I count my blessings,
For more I have than worries,
This thought I have whilst changing dressing,
Will slow down my hurry,
I bathe in reflective silence,
That in this modern world is quite rare,
Wishing more had more patience,
So please walk, do not run or blare,
Escaping the screams of the town,
I enter into my bubble,
Having dreams of duty and of clowns,
That dilute my lively trouble,
Another twenty-four have passed,
So, I put down my pen and sword,
Thus, against the tide I am slow not fast,
Enjoying this momentary reward.

- Comment from author about the poem: This short poem was written on a short break during a most lovely and productive day, and I wanted to express myself (somewhat self indulgingly) of what a lovely moment in the day it was. Hope you enjoy.
