Follow the Sun

Baylee

Summer:

complete with

cotton candy skies

the pastel shades of blue and pink

gently swirling;

limitless

As I gaze upward

I find I only relate

to the black, starless nights

that follow the sun

as it sinks.

    I'm more of a night person also , but I like stars . Daytime gets cumbersome and begins to wear on . Sunset brings relief .

    A well-versed description of depression, Baylee! At least you remain aware of the brighter side.

    But the sun will always raise on your life so the next day is always there to look forward to as it brings light into your life.
