It's not the words that hurt
It's who speaks those words
They call me whore slut bitch snake and so many more words
They don't phase me
At least not until someone I thought had my back stabs me
Stabs me with those painful words
And suddenly those words matter
No matter what mouth speaks them

Very good write. When trust is broken it can be so painful.
