Will You Remind Me?

Edthepoet

Will you remind me
Of the times I made you smile
Though you tried your best to cry

Will you remind me
Of the highs we reached sometimes
As we tried our best to fly

Will you remind me
Of the nights spent on the tiles
As we tried our best to die

I never want to worry
About how your life turned out
I never want to carry
That burden of doubt
Should we grow old
as the long night
draws to a close
In one single blink
of our minds eye
Will you remind me?
