A life from another eye

fayeisabee1

I'm everything I don't want to be.
Keeping track of lives i'd rather see.
I want to find things I'd like to look at,
But everything I look at isn't my face looking back,
This isn't a clever poem with big words-
It's an honest option from a teenage girl.
I like my eyeshadow.
I feel like shit.
I'm staying hydrated.
I'm keeping fit.
Wow well done you I'm proud you are stable,
Yet I look towards people who are more than I'm able,
I'm everything I don't want to be. The life I live is through their eyes- not me.
