Ghost

poetboy123

Simply forgotten and left behind

Floaters in the background

To them the world was blind

Lost and never to be found

Trapped within an invisible cage

Tried to put it up on display

Tried to call out, to turn the page

While being walked passed, fading away

They reached out their hands

Yet no one would see

Sinking in despair, scrambling for land

Their faint flickered flame hoped on bravely

Buried and wishing to be found

No one would ever even look

Broken and unable to be make a sound

Always waiting in their nook

The ghosts as silent as the night

Left with no will left to fight

Love your poem. To see through the eyes of a ghost. And yes, the ending is great.
