Why we can only exist in the figments of my imagination.

inexplicablyme

You cause the world to stop spinning with a mere hello. So one could only imagine the damage you'd do by gracing me with a smile or a laugh. The world would probably shake according to the vibrations emitting from your chest. Or what if your tender lips neared my ear and told me they loved me ? I'm sure I would melt along with all the ice on this world's surface. Heaven forbid you kiss me with those impeccable lips. Wild fires would appear sporatically  throughout our world's forests, though none of them a match for the one you would have  initiated upon my skin. That one would, I'm sure, leave no area of my body untouched or unscathed.

Imagination is such a powerful force. Just think, everything man-made that exists started out in somebody's imagination. Who says your imagination cannot become reality? Maybe not with the person you refer to in your poem, but maybe with somebody else.
But no matter what, it created this wonderful poem. Keep on using your imagination and keep on writing!
