They sneek up on you, when least expected. Something triggers them, making you think about them. Good or bad. Sad or happy. It dosen't matter, they'll creep into your mind like a snake. You may not want to think about them, but you do. Those horrible memories that make you mad or sad changes your mood. A single word can trigger, a single phrase spoken. Even the happy ones sometimes don't want to be remembered. Memories, one of the minds tricks to make you remember something you may not want too.

But then, who would we be without our memories? Such is the tragedy of Alzheimer's. Thanks for your post, McKinsey!
the emotional world in which yin and yang take good control leaving the vulnerability to tale control leaving the mind to whip up whirlwinds of mind bending thought. you have captured these feeling brilliantly but I do hope you get to feel better pretty soon. get into the thoughts of those memories but make sure you attempt to erase the nasty and naughty ones. keep hold of the heart felt ones.
No more memory, no more writing! You may not want to remember something, but to heal you may have to.
Memories can be priceless.
