Alone

fragileheart

You knock on my door,
But I can't seem to move my feet.
I am stuck to the couch like super glue,
But all I want is for you to be here with me.
You yell for me,
You bang on the door,
You try to pry open the window.
I cry.
I want you to stay in my life forever,
But I'll keep pushing you away because it's just better for me to be alone.

Well written and very intriguing. Why do you want to be alone? Maybe you should write a sequel.

I can relate to this poem. because its just like me. I could have written that poem. because it is more like me then youll ever know. of course it is yours and unique. ive had lots of friends who passed away. but I have been alone for a very long time. no one knocks on my door anymore. even if they did I would not hear them through my big headphones. to watch dvd's and cd's. but I do feel content. its abnormal but not in a bad way. I believe people are with me all the time.

Life has such beautiful mysterious moments where we do want to be alone. To feel loneliness and write another poem. Great writing that yours.
