Tiny Little Soldier

PenguinPoetess

Careful now
She's watching you
Her little eyes following
Every move
Her tiny hands mimic the movements
Which flow from yours
Pay attention
She may be small
But her tiny ears still hear every word you say
One day you may regret
Screaming in her face
One day you may forget
Slamming down your fist
Be cautious
Because one day she will be
More than your tiny little soldier
Strong, and persuasive
She might be
If you raise her carefully

Thank you for a great poem. We do sometimes forget that kids are like sponges, absorbing everything.

I feel in this generation it's especially true, with technology and such clouding our lives.
