Today is the day
I go to see a friend,
I guess about an hour or so
With her i'll probably spend.
Today is the day
We have one every week,
I can't remember a time
When we both didn't speak.
Today is the day
That we've had for many years,
So much that's been shared
Including blood and tears.
Today is they day
I see my psychiatrist,
That's 11 years now
When we reach August.
Today is the day
I have another session,
Why so long you'd ask
What about progression?!
Today is the day
Yes today is the day,
Because this fucking illness
Just wont ever go away.

Yeah, we are stuck with some of these pesky conditions it seems. I would say you have certainly made some progress with yours, dear Renzi. Another good poem!
Thankyou my friend ๐
Awww *hugs* beautiful you! You are so much more than these struggles. What a sweet light you are, and the humor in some of your works is so contagious. You make me smile, and I so hope there are many reasons for you to smile today. All of us battle some beast or another. Love to you, pretty lady.
Every sunrise is a fresh start ๐We sure do, being human is hard but bloody precious too. Your wee comment made me smile so thankyou for that lovely ๐
Your pain and emotions leak through every line and nothing we say will change that. But judging from the poem you wrote about your mom, you do have an incredible support group at home. Now you can add another support group in the form of fellow writers. It may not take away the pain, but hopefully it may make the path just a tiny little bit easier.
You have no idea how grateful i am for all my support, and you guys on here too are just great, thankyou๐
Superb emotive write, your strength pours out of your words and that strength is pulling you forward in your life.
So i'm looking at the stuff you put on here before i arrived.Another masterpiece (Ms-terpiece) but verse 4 just cracks me up. Fav's yes
