Glow

Baylee

I took a visit

to the place I first laid eyes on you

and sat until nightfall

imagining the possibilities

of the past

Then

a firefly

the first to glow

of the blooming summer

The tiniest of lights

defying a mass of darkness

I guess hope does exist

after all.

Hope always exists. I love the way you lead into your conclusion. Beautiful choice of words.
