Waiting for Silverfish

Augustus

the lines are out
the hooks are baited
lines entangled
lines debated

for days we waited
the fishmonger sated

lines in time are stitched
waiting for the Silverfish

Wonderful poem. I love to fish, but I'm more of the great lakes variety, never of the ocean. I too am glad to keep reading your wonderful poems again!
