the lines are out
the hooks are baited
lines entangled
lines debated
for days we waited
the fishmonger sated
lines in time are stitched
waiting for the Silverfish

Wonderful poem. I love to fish, but I'm more of the great lakes variety, never of the ocean. I too am glad to keep reading your wonderful poems again!
Never fished the Great Lakes. Sounds like fun.
I like pulling redfish out of the Gulf, but that's about it as far as my fishing experience goes. Nice poem, thanks for sharing with us!
