Unconditionally

Moonflower15

I feel your hot breath upon my face,

Welcoming the home that is your embrace,

The fleeting moment of ecstasy I try to keep,

Basking in the warmth of your spirit as I drift off to sleep,

My heart beats but one note,

A song of love for you alone,

However your ears are deaf to the sound,

You are a lone wolf that cannot be tied down,

My love for you stands unconditionally,

Even if my dear, you do not feel the same for me,

"Even if my dear, you do not feel the same for me". you capture the image of submitting yourself in front of your man regardless of what is happening. your dedication towards that is beautiful as indeed your writing skills. like to see more of this please.

This is so beautiful. I have a soft spot for rhyme aswell and this illustrates it so wonderfully.

I write some that do not rhyme at times, however they rhyme more than not. Thank you for your feedback.

Lovely, beautiful expression of pure love. Rare that we see this subject covered and you are brave to do so. More often we read of the bitterness when the wolf has departed. But every one of us nice guys here know you ladies are more attracted to the rogues. Here youve shown the tenderness within you for that attraction. +fav's

Love, ugh. It's beautiful, sure, but man can it seriously wreck a person. Well written, and very true. I felt it. Good job.

Yes it can, but it can also be a pillar of strength and healing. Thank you!
